Kids Rock the Kitchen presents Intermediate Christmas Baking — a fun and festive morning of cooking for budding chefs in Grade 7 and above! This class is all about getting into the Christmas spirit, trying some new recipes and learning a few kitchen skills along the way. Budding chefs will make three delicious Christmas favourites: Spinach & Feta Christmas Tree Pull-Apart Fruit Mince Pies Homemade Trifle Cups From twisting and shaping their Christmas tree pull-apart to making their own pastry for fruit mince pies and layering up individual trifle cups, there’s plenty to get stuck into! These are great recipes to have up your sleeve for the festive season and ones they can recreate at home for family and friends every Christmas. They’ll learn how to prepare, bake and put together each recipe, while having plenty of fun along the way. It’s a great chance for our older budding chefs to get a little more independent in the kitchen, try something new and finish the morning with some seriously delicious Christmas treats!
